PA OSHA Consultation

The Pennsylvania OSHA Consultation Program, housed in the Safety Sciences Department at IUP, provides board-certified safety and health consultants to assist small business owners with federal OSHA compliance at no cost through a grant from the Occupational Safety & Health Administration and the PA Bureau of Workers’ Compensation.

The on-site visits are 100% confidential as this program operates independently from OSHA enforcement.

Thousands of Pennsylvania businesses, from factories and laboratories to retail stores and residential/commercial construction projects, have used this no-cost program to protect their workers and improve compliance with OSHA’s safety and health regulations through onsite hazard assessments, formal and informal training and education, and industrial hygiene sampling, all at no-cost to small business owners across the commonwealth.
